Psych Is STEM psycisstem.com The Psych is STEM project is designed to promote Psychology as a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) discipline. The project proposes to advance psychology at an Historically Black University as a STEM discipline. The initiative will educate faculty, students, and the public about the "science" of psychology. This will be achieved through a variety of methods including through social media and experiential demonstrations. Project outcomes will be assessed through psychology knowledge surveys, analytics, and attendance at various activities. The project funded by the American Psychological Association Commission on Ethnic Minority Recruitment, Retention, and Training.

Project CURE utilizes data from the ASCEND Center for Biomedical Research to understand how an innovative entrepreneurial training program influences decisions by underrepresented students in to pursue research careers in the biomedical, behavioral, and social sciences.
The ASCEND Center for Biomedical Research is funded by the National Institute for General Medical Sciences.
