The REACH Team is comprised of faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students who are committed to conducting research designed to address health disparities, health inequities, promote positive health outcomes, and understand factors associated with pursuing careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science research.

Oluwatoyin Ajayi is a doctoral student in the School of Community Health and Policy at Morgan State University. She is a Program Assistant and Near Peer Mentor in the ASCEND Center for Biomedical Research. Markea Carter is a graduate in psychology and NIH BUILD, ASCEND Scholar. She is interested in emotional development, cognition, and childhood abuse. She developed an app to educate students about sexual assault and an app promoting psychology as a STEM discipline. She is currently working at CHIMES a behavioral health service provider. Deshawn Collington is a graduate in psychology and NIH BUILD, ASCEND Scholar. She is currently an Applied Behavior Analysis Instructor at the Ivymount School. Kayla Griffin is a graduate in psychology and NIH BUILD, ASCEND Scholar. She is currently in graduate school at Bowie State University where she is pursuing a masters degree in School Psychology. Sydney Jones is graduate in psychology. Sydney was accepted into the Clinical Psychology graduate program at Virginia Tech University. JonAsia Spears is a graduate in psychology and criminal justice minor. She was accepted into the masters program in forensic psychology at the Chicago School for Professional Psychology. |
